Properly completed documents that are accompanied by the correct filing fee (if applicable), and are received and/or time-stamped by 4:00 p.m. will be filed as of the date received.
Documents dropped in the Drop Boxes, which are received and time-stamped after 4:00 p.m., or which are not time stamped, will be filed the next day and will indicate a filing date of the next day.
The top page of each set of documents must be time-stamped.
Documents with upcoming hearing dates must have the date and department on the first page of the document [CRC 311 (b)].
Motions and Order to Show Cause documents that do not have a reserved court date must be submitted for filing during normal hours of operation which are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Incomplete or incorrect documents will be returned to the originating party without filing. A self-addressed stamped envelope must accompany copies for conforming, if you desire the documents to be returned by mail. |
