Juvenile Justice

Juvenile Justice (formerly known as "Delinquency") matters are misdemeanor or felony matters committed by an individual under the age of 18. The law currently provides, in some instances, the possibility of the juvenile being tried as an adult in the Superior Court. Juvenile Justice hearings are typically heard in Court Department 17 at the Juvenile Court Branch at 2215 Blue Gum Avenue, Modesto, CA.

Filings for Juvenile Justice matters are filed at the Juvenile Branch Court located at 2215 Blue Gum Avenue, Modesto, CA in Room 15.

The Juvenile Justice facility is located west of the intersection of Carpenter Road and Blue Gum Avenue in Modesto. Court is in session Monday through Friday for Delinquency matters.  You may contact the Clerk's Office by calling our auto attendant at (209) 530-3100 and selecting option 8. Please listen carefully to select the correct office.

Juvenile Traffic Matters

Most juvenile traffic matters are heard at Traffic Court, located at 2260 Floyd Ave., Modesto, CA 95358.  Please note juvenile traffic hearings are set by appointment only.  For more information on appointments and other options available to resolve traffic matters, please see the Traffic Court Division page on this website.
