The Superior Court of Stanislaus County is dedicated to ensuring access to court services for persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).

Interpreter services are available in all case types including but not limited to the following:

•Criminal
•Juvenile
•Traffic
•Family Law
•Civil
•Unlawful Detainer
•Small Claims
•Mental Competency Hearings with Appointed Counsel
•Proceedings to Terminate Parental Rights
•Conservatorships and Guardianships
•Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse
•Domestic Violence

Interpreters do not help parties fill out or file court forms.

How to get an interpreter assigned to your case:
If you need the services of an interpreter, you may obtain a copy of the Request for Interpreter (INT-300) form here, or by visiting any of the Superior Court Clerk's offices.
Return the completed and signed form to the appropriate Clerk’s office or email the same to InterpreterAccess@stanct.org 30 days prior to your court date.

The Court attempts to meet every request for an interpreter.  You will be notified if the Court is not able to meet your request.

Language Access Services Complaint
For complaints about services at your local court related to staff, court interpreters, or local translations, please print and submit the Language Access Complaint form in English or Spanish via email to InterpreterAccess@stanct.org , at the address listed at the top of this page, or at the appropriate clerk's office location.

The Court takes all complaints about language access very seriously and will address the concerns in an appropriate manner.  Please be aware that the Language Access Representative does not have the authority to change or modify any decision made by a judicial officer and that review of the complaint does not, in any way, affect or extend any applicable deadlines or procedural requirements such as filing motions, appeals, modifications, etc.
