Due to Covid-19(Coronavirus), Stanislaus Superior Court will limit the number of persons who can access the Modesto Main Courthouse (800 11th Street and 1100 I Street). To protect the health and safety of our community during this pandemic, access will be limited to parties, attorneys, summoned jurors, subpoenaed witnesses, court security personnel, court employees, law enforcement appearing in court as part of their official duties, individuals filing documents or requesting assistance from the clerk's office, one (1) support person pursuant to Family Code section 6303, approved vendors, contractors and delivery persons, and any other individuals who have been permitted by Court order. If the Clerk’s Office is not open, you may file using the drop boxes located outside the Clerk’s Office.
Remote public access to non-confidential court hearings in Criminal case is available through a video livestream on the Court’s website: https://www.stanct.org/node/4199553.
If you do not have a case on calendar, but would like to attend the hearing in-person, you may complete the 'Request to Attend Court Hearing' form linked below. A judge will review the request and either grant or deny the request.

How to fill out the Request to Attend Court Hearing form:
- You can open the link below and complete the form electronically. Save a local copy of the completed form on your computer to be submitted.
- If you are unable to complete the form electronically, you have the option to print out the form and complete it using a pen.
- Please be sure to include your telephone number and email address on the request form, so the Court can notify you if your request has been granted or denied.
How to submit the Request to Attend Court Hearing form:
- You can attach the completed request form to an email sent to: public.access@stanct.org.
- You can file the request form in either the Criminal Clerk’s Office, 800 11th Street, Room 120, or the Family Law Clerk’s Office, 1100 I Street. If the Clerk’s Office is not open, you may file using the drop boxes located outside the Clerk’s Office.
When to submit the Request to Attend Court Hearing form:
- Please submit the request form at least two (2) business days before the hearing you would like to attend is scheduled.
